Move to Odoo with a clear plan.

A useful Odoo implementation is more than installing modules. Identify the processes, data and people that need to work together, then define how the result will be checked.

Discuss your implementation

Agree the route before the cutover.

Review workflows, source data, modules and licence dependencies. Configure the agreed scope and prepare the migration. Rehearse with representative data and reconcile the result. Agree cutover, rollback responsibilities and team handover.

Make the inputs visible.

Bring your Odoo version if applicable, current systems, custom-module source, data samples and key business reports. Access and migration rights must be clear. Data cleanup, custom development and provider changes should appear in the scope rather than emerge as hidden assumptions.

Useful questions, answered.

That depends on the source systems, data and dependencies. The proposed sequence should follow a reviewed assessment, not a blanket promise.

Agree the workflows, record reconciliation and responsible reviewers before implementation.

Start with the workflows you cannot interrupt.
