Privacy information

Updated 3 October 2026

CORVUS NEXUS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16970865, is responsible for the personal information it uses for its website, direct App sales, enquiries and support. Contact support@corvusnexus.com or write to Office 16564, 182–184 High Street North, East Ham, London, United Kingdom, E6 2JA. Emails create helpdesk tickets, including privacy enquiries.

Information we use and why

We use Odoo account and contact details, orders, invoices, payment status, agreement and download records to process purchases, provide account access and downloads, and maintain purchase entitlements. We use enquiries and helpdesk correspondence to respond to requests and provide support. These activities are necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps you request before a contract. For business customers' representatives, we rely on our legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship and responding to authorised contacts.

We process accounting records to meet legal obligations. We use relevant access and security information for our legitimate interests in protecting systems and users and investigating misuse. Module Studio drafts and voluntarily uploaded files are used to provide the requested draft/intake facility and respond to your request, on the contract or requested pre-contract basis. We receive information from your interactions with us; bank-transfer and accounting records provide payment status.

Hosting and access

Our website and email infrastructure are hosted on Hetzner servers in Germany. This describes our website and email hosting, not the location of any separately purchased customer hosting service or future selectable VM region. Transfers to our hosting provider in Germany are covered by the UK adequacy regulations for the European Economic Area. Authorised personnel access information remotely where needed to operate the service and provide support. Relevant records may also be disclosed where law requires or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

GitLab is used for software source code; the App catalogue does not use it to store customer payment information. Purchasing an App does not by itself give us access to your Odoo database. We will explain any additional data-handling arrangement before requesting customer data for support. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary confidential data in ordinary enquiries.

Retention

We retain account and entitlement records while needed to provide account access, purchased downloads and outstanding support obligations. Orders, invoices and payment records are retained for applicable accounting and tax requirements and, where necessary, to resolve disputes or legal claims. Enquiries and support tickets are retained while needed to handle the request, follow-up or related disputes. Agreement and download records evidence purchases, supplied versions and entitlements. Security records are retained while needed to investigate incidents and protect the service. These purposes do not justify keeping information indefinitely; we review whether continued retention is necessary.

Temporary Module Studio drafts and files cease to be accessible through the draft facility after 72 hours without an update. Scheduled cleanup removes expired material; permanent deletion is not promised exactly at 72 hours. Material separately submitted into an enquiry, order or support record follows that record's retention criteria. Backup copies, if retained, follow the applicable backup rotation and recovery arrangements and may not disappear at the same time as working copies.

Your rights

Information needed for an account, purchase or requested support must be supplied for us to provide that activity. Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where an activity relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact support@corvusnexus.com to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies and external fonts

Our website uses a session_id cookie to maintain your website session, including account and shopping functions, and a frontend_lang cookie to remember your language. The session cookie has a seven-day browser lifetime; the language cookie lasts approximately one year. These lifetimes may renew when you return.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary session cookies may prevent account or checkout functions; clearing the language cookie may reset your language choice.

Our pages load stylesheets and font files through Google Fonts. These requests send Google connection and browser request information, including your IP address. Google's handling of that information is explained in its privacy policy.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests by emailing support@corvusnexus.com. Tell us which processing concerns you so we can consider your request.
