Find operational dependencies before retiring a product. An obsolete product can still have stock, reservations or open operations. Archiving it as part of a catalog cleanup without reviewing those dependencies leaves warehouse and purchasing teams to discover the consequences later. Run a preflight over selected products and separate safe, warning and blocked results. Managers can resolve the findings and archive eligible records with a retained decision history, without deleting the stock or document history. Inventory managers and catalog administrators retiring discontinued products or preparing a controlled product cleanup. Illustrative workflow — the available actions depend on your configuration. A manager selects a group of discontinued items. Preflight identifies products with remaining reservations and produces a correction list. Eligible items can be archived while blocked products remain available until their dependencies are resolved. Select obsolete products and run Product Archive Preflight. Review Safe, Warning, and Blocked findings with quantity and operation context. Export the issue list and resolve stock, reservation, or open-operation dependencies.
